2015 Spring Concert Update

LHS CPA – 7 pm

All Bands:

We are wearing our full concert uniforms. Please adhere to the following:


Guys
– tuxedo coat, pants, cummerbund, tie, BLACK dress shoes and BLACK socks, white button-up shirt with collar (does not have to be a tux shirt but needs to be a full button-up shirt with collar (a polo does not count).

Ladies – Concert dress, black dress shoes (boots are not dress shoes) and please wear neutral colored hair accessories. Jewelry should be neutral colored as well (no bright bracelets, earrings).

Pep Band only – dress up for this concert if you are not in a concert group!!!

Tuesday Dress Rehearsal on May 19:

We will have dress rehearsals on Tuesday in classes. Wind Ensemble regular class time (IA members will report at 9:20-10:20) IA/Symphonic Band will be from 10:30 – 11:30 (during Symphonic Band Class…IA already aware of this rehearsal). Uniform Turn in: We are asking EVERYONE to come to the concert with a change of clothes. After your performances, we ask that you change out of uniform and hang it on the stairs in the band room with your name on the hanger (paper thru hanger or taped on) so we can mark yours as returned. This will make uniform collection much easier this summer. Thank you all!

Schedule:

We will be reporting at the following times for this concert:

6:30p (SHARP!) – IA Band/Symphonic Band/Percussion – report to band room for line-up/final check for set-up.

6:45 p – Wind Ensemble/Pep Band in audience to listen.

7 pm – Concert Begins 9 pm – Approximate end time for concert.

Audience plan: Students in IA Band/Symphonic band will sit in the audience for the 2nd half of the concert. You are expected to be here with everyone else. Be professional and respectful of the other band members and audience. We have our awards ceremony during this concert.

Concert Admission Reminder… Parents, there is admission for the spring concert. It is $2 for Adults, $1 for children/students, or $5 Family price. Thank you!
