Remind (formerly Remind 101) is a text/email messaging program, in addition to our distribution list, to quickly send last minuted notices or announcements to all parents and band members in a much shorter time period than our email distribution.
Attached are the Remind links for all bands, except Pep band which will get one as their first event approaches. Parents and students can sign up (it’s Free). You will receive text reminders related to your band/bands. It is a great tool for each musical group, especially as we approach an event like a competition, fall concert, etc. It is a “reminder” for events, turn ins, deadlines, cancellations, etc.
Parents need to sign up/so do students, for each band they are in…a jazz band notice, doesn’t go to marching band, etc…so, for every band a student is in, they need to enroll.
You can, also, sign up via email and receive any texts as an email.
