Attention Marching Band Families:

On August12th, we have our band booster meeting to start off the marching band season.  We did something a little different last year and want to try something similar this year.  We had a potluck dinner where rhe boosters provided hot dogs and hamburgers for the band/families and we had a potluck and cookout.  We are inviting all of you to attend.  What we need to make this work is simply to ask you to bring an item to share for the potluck, and we are trying to make this simple by dividing by last names.  Please see below and join us for this important meeting.  We want to welcome you all to the band (new and returning), and have some time to hang out before the season gets crazy.  This is a great time for everyone to meet and get acquainted.  There are always questions about this or that, and this is a good venue to ask and get those questions answered by returning marching band members, parents, or board members.  Marching band is quick paced and there is a lot of information to absorb for new band parents.  Please join us, and welcome to the band family!!!  Thanks is advance and hope to see you there.

The band boosters will proved hotdogs and hamburgers, condiments, and plates/napkins, cutlery, but we need your help with the following potluck items:

Please see last names below:

Last name A – J, Salad (any type – macaroni, potato, tossed, etc) and a 2-liter of pop

Last name K – R, Dessert (anything simple like brownies, cookies, etc) and a 2-lier of pop

Last name S – Z, Chips or fruit, and a 2-liter of pop

Also, if you are available to help set up at 6 pm or could help clean up, please contact Becky Wathen

*Please note:
We will have the band members eat dinner with us as well, and they will be involved in  a section competion event during our meeting time and will end the evening at 8:30 pm at the same time our meeting /dinner ends.
