Greetings Band Families,
As an annual fundraiser, we help Oakland Yard Athletics in taking down their North Dome (smaller of the two) as the domes are used as a winter-only facility. For our assistance, Oakland Yard credits us $1000 for our time.
We need your help. The take-down event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th from 8 am – 12 noon. The more people we have, the faster we can knock this out. We need any parent/student that can assist us in this process. As mentioned, this event saves our program $1000. The cost for renting their indoor facility for practices during the colder months as we prepare for State Finals and National Championships.
We’ve been a customer of Oakland Yard for over 20 years and they have been generious enough to allow us to work-off our rental. All parents and students are welcomed and needed. Please contact Mr. Green to notify him of your availability, and include the number of people coming. If you are a new family, please note that this volunteer time can count towards your 10 hours for the fall marching band season. If you are a concert/IA family only, we can still use the help and it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all!!!
