Fast becoming an annual event, the Lakeland High School Jazz Band of White Lake 
and the Premier Big Band of Howell, on Saturday, May 9th, entertained an audience of jazz music loving enthusiast from all around the Lakeland High School area.
With the concert la
beled “The Battle of the Jazz Bands”, the audience was entertained with both bands competing in a fun-loving fight for dominance with a vast program of classic jazz and blues music performed from each band ensemble with a few combined numbers tucked in here and there.

On behalf of the Lakeland Band, I would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our sponsors, our Band Boosters and Board members, and our students as well, for helping to make tonight possible! It is truly an honor to have such an amazing group in the area to share their gift and love of music, let alone to have them perform with us here at Lakeland High School!
