Hello Band Families,
Many of you may have received an envelope with the Marching Band’s summer /early fall fundraiser, Football Mania. If you haven’t, your student will be getting one very soon. Ask them about it. This is a great opportunity to make money for your student’s account. Each envelope has 10 tickets. The sweepstake tickets are $20 each. $10 of each ticket you sell will go towards your student’s account.Please open the envelope and read the 2 page opening letter. Do not throw away the tickets, if you do not plan on participating in this opportunity, please drop the envelope with all of its contents back into the Red Box.
What you do: Sell a ticket for $20. Make sure the person fills out the name, address, phone, and email (Print Clearly). This is how we will be sending a check to them if they win. Tear the bottom stub off of the ticket and return the stub with money in the small enclosed envelope to the Black letter box in the band room. The purchaser keeps the main ticket. There is 1:27 odds of winning. 17 weeks of potentially winning $400, $200, $100, $50, and several $25’s without going into too much detail. Each week, the scores of the football games within the identified week on the back of ticket are added together to determine the winners. ***Bonus- there is a $20 music download available on each ticket of up and coming artists. ($35 dollar Value) There is a potential list of artists in your envelope. This is refreshed every 6 months, so it may be a little different once you go to site to download them. After the ticket stub is returned to me and it is registered, then the music downloads will be available.
