Marching Band Parents,
We have our annual 1st Meeting of the School Year tomorrow at 7 pm in the LHS Cafeteria for all marching band parents. This meeting is our chance to cover all pertinent information regarding camp, accounts, and the start of the marching band season. We look forward to seeing you all there at 7 pm in the cafeteria. There will be updates from the board, marching band committees, and for the band in general from Mr. Green.
Just a few reminders this week for everyone:
1. All accounts must be current for your student to attend band camp. Band camp is required for students who are in the marching band. If you have NOT made any arrangements for payment with our treasurer, Theresa Zammit, you must do so immediately so that we can avoid any issues on Saturday with check in for students. Please support us on this. The band operates based off of student fees coming in on time for all students.
2. Tour Shirt Order Forms – We are collecting these tomorrow (Tuesday) and ask that you please make sure they are in by 9 pm Tuesday night. If you miss the deadline, you can still order on the second order after camp, but those will not be in until mid-September.
3. Forms – One of the most important parts of the meeting tomorrow will be the ability to check to make sure all forms are in and complete. This is critical as we must have physical forms for all students and we also do not want to make Saturday check-in take forever either.
THANK YOU ALL. I cannot say enough positive about the start of the season so far with the kids. We had a great Pre-Camp 1 and the summer sectionals were a huge success as well for all sections of the band!
