Dear Band Families:
As a member of the Lakeland Steering Committee, I am sponsoring the Festival of Lights this year as a project to help bring the community to LHS. I am responsible on two parts…the concerts on Saturday and the oversight of the light display/event as a whole.
I am asking for your help. We are trying to get volunteers from all 3 buildings on our campus to pitch in with decorating on December 13, donating items such as lights, decorations, searching for generators (portable) to borrow for the event, and donations of cookies/snacks for the reception/refresher on December 14 during the jazz concert in the cafeteria.
I need your help and I am asking if any band families will step in and help out…in any way. Attached is the flyer for the event as well as a “to do” list I’m sharing with any volunteers.
