Robert Green, Director of Bands

The 2014 – 2015 school year is my 20th year of teaching, all with Huron Valley robert greenSchools.  Before coming to Lakeland, I taught band and choir at Muir Middle School in Milford.  I have also taught part-time at White Lake in both band and choir, and I also served as Dean of Students at Lakeland High School for a short time.  I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University, a Master’s in Teaching from MaryGrove College, and a second Master’s in Educational Leadership from Oakland University.  I am also certified in Administration, K-12, in the State of Michigan.  I am currently serving my 8th term as the President of the Michigan Competing Band Association.

It is an honor and privilege to be a teacher, and I cherish the experience to work with your students to help them on their educational journey as future leaders, educated citizens, and life-long learners.
